Flaxseed and Orange Pancakes
with egg, milk, cinnamon and xylitol
Flaxseed pancakes are rich in omega 3, a healthy fat that helps regulate cholesterol. They are quite satiating and can be served for breakfast or snack. Here at home we are fans of pancakes, and on weekends we almost always make a big pile for the family breakfast!

In a food processor, grind the flaxseed to flour.
Hit with wire stick or magic wand.
Heat a non-stick frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil and add a portion of dough to make each pancake.
When it starts to bubble, turn and cook on the other side.
Repeat the process until the dough is finished. And it is ready to be served.
Note: this recipe makes 10-12 pancakes. One serving equals 2-3 pancakes.
