Chocolate pie
Chocolate pie

Chocolate pie

with almonds, dates, oat flakes, cashews, lemon and honey

It's a very quick pie to make, as only the base goes into the oven. The recipe came about by chance: I was inventing some new bars and I remembered to add chocolate and make a dessert beforehand.

Preparation Instructions

To the base:

01

Preheat the oven to 170ºC.

02

In a processor, place the raw almonds with the skin, the oat flakes, 8 pitted dates, the coconut oil, the lemon zest, the honey and a pinch of fine sea salt, and grind until you get a dough that can be molded .

03

Pour the dough into a pan and, with the help of your hands, line the base by pressing the dough well so that it is all the same height.

04

Bake for about 15 to 20 min (depends on the thickness of the dough).

For the filling:

01

Without washing the processor cup, break the chocolate tablet into small pieces by tapping the container still closed on the countertop, and then place it in the processor. Grind to a fine chocolate flour.

02

Then add the cashews, the water, the juice squeezed from half a lemon, 2 c. honey soup and a pinch of fine sea salt (and vanilla powder - optional), and beat again until you have a homogeneous cream.

03

Remove the base from the oven and let it cool.

04

Fill the base with the cream and refrigerate until firm.

05

Unmold and sprinkle optionally with coconut flour or toasted echo fruits broken into pieces.

Note: this recipe is for 8 slices of pie. An individual serving equals 1 slice.
