Preparation Instructions

For Bifana de Tofu:

01

Cut the tofu into 4 slices and place them on a platter. Season with 2 finely sliced garlic cloves, 4 sliced red peppers, 1 bay leaf, 1 tablespoon olive oil, mustard, paprika, black pepper, beer, and lemon juice, all wrapped very well.

02

Leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes, the longer the time the better you will know later.

03

In a non-stick skillet, place only the tofu to cook for 3 to 4 min. Then turn the tofu over and wait for that time again.

04

When cooked add the seasoning sauce and let it simmer until the sauce almost disappears.

For Sauteed Green Beans:

01

Boil the green beans in water for 15 min.

02

In the meantime add 2 minced garlic cloves and 2 c. olive oil soup in a low frying pan and sauté the garlic for about 5 min.

03

Then drain the water and place the green beans in the pan to sauté about 5 min or until ready.

Note: This recipe can make 4 tofu steaks. One single dose equals 2 tofu bifanas.
